Lulu lights up Dubai's Burj Khalifa to celebrate launch of its 200th hypermarket

Lulu Hypermarket celebrated the launch of its 200th store in the world, by lighting up Dubai’s landmark Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, projecting the familiar colors of Lulu’s logo with congratulatory message to commemorate the moment.

Lulu opened its first store in the UAE in the early 90s and recently launched its 200th store in Cairo, Egypt, to expand its retail footprint to cover 10 countries including GCC, Egypt, India, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Company chairman Yusuffali MA said Lulu has been expanding the business despite the pandemic and has launched more than 15 stores in the last 12 months.
